Since Jesus can hear all prayers and answers them demonstrates He is "the Hearer of Prayer" (Psalm 65:2). This means He is God for "God is the only “Hearer of prayer.” Ps 65:1, 2" (Bible Topics, See 18c, page 7) https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1101997081
The proposition that Jesus is God presents innumerable difficulties for the thinking reader of the Scriptures.
If Jesus is God, the great "Hearer of prayer" of Psalm 62, what sense would it be for him to pray? Does God have to pray? Who would Jesus be praying to if not God Himself? We see that Jesus on multiple occasions prays to his Father (Matt 26:42; Mar 14:36; Luke 22:42; John 17:1). If Jesus is God, and God is the Father (1 Cor 8:6; Heb 1:1), what are we to infer about Jesus? Presumably, Almighty God has heard, hears and continues to hear every single righteous prayer made to Him. It seems so silly to even ask the question: if Jesus is the "Hearer of Prayer," would there not have been a point in time-namely, at the point of his death-where he stopped hearing prayers? The idea is absurd to suggest!
The truth about Jesus and his relationship to God is clear and simple and does not need to be obscured; attempts to get around the aforementioned difficulties inevitably relies on extra-biblical concepts and absurdities and leads people away from the plain meaning of Scripture.
You ignored the fact that the Lord Jesus can hear all prayers (Acts 1:24; Revelation 2:23) and answers them. Thus, He is the Hearer of prayer. It is an absurdity to believe otherwise.
