Here is a link for an article written by George D. Chryssides. I believe that he attempts to be objective or fair when writing about the religious movement known as Jehovah's Witnesses. One criticism that I have of his work, however, is that he is sloppy or careless with historical details. But maybe he is not a historian. Anyway, his article isn't that difficult to read. One more criticism might be that what is mentioned in the abstract is not fully developed by the author in his actual writing.

OK, Thanks.
I was wondering if you have read his more recent article (2010) called
"How Prophecy Succeeds: The Jehovah’s Witnesses and Prophetic Expectations"
I would like to read/get this, but don't want to waste my money (£12) if it's not worth it. Other people have said it's quite reasonable. they also said it was avilable free (not anymore).
If you have read it, did you find it accurate?
M.
I have not read the 2010 article in its entirety, but from what I've ascertained from the web, the article is worth reading. Whether it's worth is a matter of one's personal judgment. :)

Edgar
