I'm sure you've noticed similarities between Ezekiel's vision and other places where the Bible mentions very high mountains:
Ezekiel 40:2 (LXX): ἐν ὁράσει θεοῦ εἰς τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ καὶ ἔθηκέν με ἐπ᾽ ὄρους ὑψηλοῦ σφόδρα καὶ ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ὡσεὶ οἰκοδομὴ πόλεως ἀπέναντι
Matthew 4:8: πάλιν παραλαμβάνει αὐτὸν ὁ διάβολος εἰς ὄρος ὑψηλὸν λίαν καὶ δείκνυσιν αὐτῷ πάσας τὰς βασιλείας τοῦ κόσμου καὶ τὴν δόξαν αὐτῶν
Revelation 21:10: καὶ ἀπήνεγκέν με ἐν πνεύματι ἐπὶ ὄρος μέγα καὶ ὑψηλόν καὶ ἔδειξέν μοι τὴν πόλιν τὴν ἁγίαν Ἰερουσαλὴμ καταβαίνουσαν ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ

Isaiah 57:7 (LXX): ἐπ᾽ ὄρος ὑψηλὸν καὶ μετέωρον ἐκεῗ σου ἡ κοίτη κἀκεῗ ἀνεβίβασας θυσίας
